Forty-six Streptococci were isolated from human dental plaque. Each isolated from a different person, and their morphological and physiological characteristics investigated. It was found that the isolated micro-organisms 1. Most found that the isolated micro-organisms 2. Acid produced from maltose, inulin, manitol, sorbitol, lactose, mannose. Arabinose and xylose fermentations are variable. 3. In the sucrose broth, most of them formed gelatinous clusters adhearing to the wall of the tube.
